"Sometimes we just need to let go .."

I debated whether this was to belong in the scraps catagory or not, but I decided as you see. It holds a current strong emotional attachment with me because this is my current feelings. It has dual meanings so you may all hear a different side to what it means to me but no one story holds it all.

The collar represents an obstical, something holding back. By removing it, it shows that change is to be had, yet the wearer had it for so long that a bond has formed and the still grip on ever so slightly.
The butterflies represent change that comes with freedom. They show that just after this obstical, there is something more whether one believes it or not. It shows that one just has to let go .. just drop what they are holding onto for dear life and let freedom take hold of them in it's wings.

Dual meanings .. gives us all room to relate, no?

I love it Kit. It's beautiful. If you need to talk, you know how to get a hold of me.

My friends are the kind of people that if my house was on fire, they'd be inside roasting marshmellows and hitting on the firemen.

It's full of so much meaning that I myself think about when night has fallen and all is quiet. We long to hold on when it would be best to just let go. We fear far too much .. we want to lose nothing. Taking a leap of faith a lot harder than it seems. We have our wings but we are too afraid to use them.

Beautiful.... it reminds me of all that I need to let go of... thank you for reminding us of the grace in moving on...

I will find my wings, love...

Then why not let go? Let your wings unfold and take a leap. Is the stumble and slight pain worth the excitement and possibilities that come with it? I think so.
